How does it work?
Micromesotherapy uses the technique of creating channels in the dermis. These channels in the dermis to stimulate and generate new collagen and skin tissue for smoother, firmer, more toned skin.
What can I expect in treatment?
Many patients find that Micromesotherapy procedure is quick without causing any discomfort as there is no such type of terrible pain. Numbing cream can be used for extra comfort where desired.
Most patients see results after the first treatment. Individual results vary depending on individual skin health. It is most common to begin to see true changes or positive results as soon as 1-2 weeks after the first treatment.
After a session, you can expect to be red for a period of up to five days, but you can wear mineral makeup starting the next day to hide the color. People may experience some light burning, tightness, and mild flaking. Noticeable difference in the texture of the skin will occur within a couple of weeks.
A hyaluronic mask is applied for 5-10 min and moisturiser. Do not take any anti-inflammatory medications such as ibuprofen, Motrin or Advil for 1 week. DO NOT ice face or use arnica or bromelain.
Are there any side effects?
People may experience some redness for 24 to 28 hours light burning, tightness, and sometimes mild flaking. Noticeable difference in the texture of the skin will occur within a few weeks.
After the session, there is little to no downtime.
Generally, you can expect to experience redness for 24 hours. Occasionally this can extend to up to five day. Wearing mineral makeup starting the next day makes it possible to hide the colour if needed.
Generally, normal activities can resume after 24 hours.
- Do not take any anti-inflammatory medications for one week after the procedure.
- Do not use ice on your face, and avoid using arnica/bromelain
- Avoid sun tanning and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight for at least 2 weeks
- Use a painkiller, such as paracetamol if you experience any soreness
How many treatments would I need?
The number of treatments required varies widely upon treatment objection and area(S) and skin health. Once the desired result is achieved, we generally recommend one to two sessions a year for maintenance.
Micromesotherapy can be safely repeated every 4-6 weeks as needed.
What results can I expect to see?
You expect to see changes in the skin after a few weeks; e.g. Newly formed collagen smooths the skin and reduces traces of acne scarring, reduction of fine lines and wrinkles.
